Enjoy a memorable trail ride on 110-acres in situated in an idyllic mid-Ohio forest at Blue Horseshoe Farm.
Riders of all ages and families are welcome to join us for a trail excursion experience that includes everything from flat "bunny trails" to 'black diamond" trails for advanced riders. Trails feature the best of Ohio nature in showcasing everything from open fields of flowers to hilly, canopied forest.
Our trail rides begin with learning to tack (saddle) your horse followed by getting to know your horse in our indoor arena. Then we head out on a trail ride tailored to your riding experience. Each trail ride is approximately 1.5 hours. We can accommodate 4 riders per trail ride.
Our trail rides are conducted on acreage owned by Mr. Robert "Bob" Baker and protected by the Tecumseh Land Trust (TLT).
The TLT conserves rich, fertile agricultural land, protects the viability of agriculture, and maintains a diverse environment by protecting natural habitat for plants and wildlife. TLT's protection efforts also ensure that future generations have fresh, clean water sources and encourage a functioning local food economy while saving natural and agricultural land for the benefit of future generations.
A portion of the proceeds from each trail ride benefit Hoofbeats and Heartbeats, our partner 501(c)3 charitable organization, which provides Equine Assisted Services to Veterans and those with Special Needs.
